Short Work Day

Yesterday I went into work for a while so I didn't spend a whole lot of time doing house projects. I'm happy to say I do have power now, of course I need a whole box of new lightbulbs to replace all the bad or missing ones in the house.

I tore up a little more flooring in the kitchen and my ma came and cleaned my gross fridge so I could put my left-over Arby's and 2-liter of 7up in it.

A bit later Lil' Davy , Lil' Katy, and Lil' Glovy came over and with the help of a big Padelford pipe-wrench, Lil' Glovy's keen eye on a couple missed nails, and Mr. pry-bar we were able to successfully remove the countertop without destroying it.

The trunk of my car has been permanent storage and completely full for as long as I've owned a car. It was the first thing I moved into my new garage after I closed. I actually put my Target purchases in my trunk after shopping yesterday. How exciting.

I made a cleaning supply run yesterday at my ma's behest. She said the stuff she brought over was far too environmentally healthy for the mess I had.

I might need a few more bottles of that degreaser for the kitchen ceiling alone....yuck.
